We are committed to providing a united voice and driving real change for the estimated one in ten New Zealanders affected by dyslexia.
Dyslexia is an alternative way of thinking which, if addressed appropriately, can be a creative gift. In fact, many talented and gifted New Zealanders are dyslexic. If not addressed correctly, it can lead to learning difficulties and to social issues. Dyslexia’s biggest challenge is self-esteem. Recognition, understanding and action are critical to making a difference for people with dyslexia and the Foundation‘s work is focused in these areas.
