Sue Larkey is a highly qualified special educator and has authored several books and resource material. She is a truly inspirational speaker and not only is her one day seminar informative it is also a lot of fun! She has a remarkable ability to captivate her audience for an entire day, and attendees come away fuelled with strategies and ideas to teach children with autism and aspergers syndrome.
An estimated 1 in 100 children have an autism spectrum disorder. This seminar will inspire and motivate both parents and educators, and teach them how to make teaching these children a success.

With 2012 rapidly approaching we would like to take this opportunity to thank the 2,000 participants who attended our autism seminars this year with our popular presenters – Sue Larkey, Dr Tony Attwood, Dr Wendy Lawson and Alison Schroeder! The on-going feedback has been fantastic and it's great to know that our seminars are making a difference in the lives of those with an autism spectrum disorder, as well as those who live and work with them.

SPELD Auckland Block course, open to teachers, early childhood teachers, RTLB's, SENCO's.

An in depth look at specific learning difficulties including dyslexia. The block
course can lead on to becoming a qualified SPELD teacher available to tutor one
a 1:1 basis.
SPELD Auckland Introductory Course, open to parents, teachers, teacher aides
10th and 17th June 2011.
This is a two day introductory course with strategies for assisting in the classroom and within the home.
Enrolments open 1st October 2011 for course commencement March/April 2012.
Enrolments are welcome from all parts of New Zealand.
SPELD NZ Tester Training course - held once a year to train applicants with the
required NZCER qualifications to adminster the WJ111 diagnostic assessment. Next
course 2012.
